Collaborative partnerships with NGAs and LGUs shall be strengthened by the sharing of relevant research outputs and systematic training programs where appropriate. To jumpstart the first key program, the UP entered into a landmark Memorandum of Agreement with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in establishing the UPBARMM Development Institute signed in September 2023 to facilitate and institutionalize policy and program engagements for inclusive and sustainable development in the region.
