The Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) carried out pilot-testing of its bakery products among UP Mindanao constituents in November to gather feedback before formally embarking on the business venture. Some baked products the TTBDO is deploying for market testing are cookies, brownies, bars, and cakes. The products have attached prices also to test their market pricing elasticity. The initial responses were favorable, with employees snatching up the test products and some market trends observed, with some best sellers among the offerings. This follows the opening of the UP Mindanao Pilot Bakery in April and the initial taste tests carried out in September among the UP Mindanao ExeCom members.
